Located in Rozelle Bay on this inner-city part of Sydney’s Port Jackson, the Sydney Superyacht Marina is home to Sydney’s biggest resident and visiting yachts. Originally built to accommodate visiting yachts for the 2000 Olympic Games, Sydney Superyacht Marina is the largest dedicated Superyacht berthing facility in the Southern Hemisphere.
The design is flexible in the internal layout to accommodate a variety of Marina uses such as brokerage, chandlery, provisioning, café, restaurant, function facilities, operations and logistics, offices, and associated commercial offerings. To the rear a multi-level car park structure serves site visitors. The upper and lower levels open onto generous balconies capitalising on the harbour-side ambiance, which defines this unique locale. Finishes and facades express the site’s maritime character and adjacent port infrastructure.
This is the first stage of a multi-million dollar redevelopment of the Rozelle Bay facility, transforming the Marina into a world class destination for superyachting in Australia. Beyond providing for their maintenance needs, the superyachts are front and centre in a design that creates an extended public waterfront environment of restaurants and a public promenade along the harbour.
