With major renewal works currently taking place, the Sydney Opera House Tour was facing the absence of its world-famous Concert Hall. Stepping in to fill this temporary void is an unforgettable immersive digital experience; a new state-of-the-art venue boasting adaptable infrastructure to extend its life beyond the Concert Hall reopening.

To supplement the Concert Hall closure, SOH sought to create a new immersive digital tour experience through the conversion of a former BOH area. Thorough considerations were given to the core documents that define the World Heritage value of the Sydney Opera House, including the Conservation Management Plan and the Utzon Design Principles. The room encompasses the UDP by providing “architecture that is predominantly experiential in nature” by creating a space that is customised to intensify sensory experiences and utilises cutting edge technology.
