Campbelltown Catholic Golf Clubhouse
A clubhouse with a fresh perspective
Challenge
The challenge for the refurbishment and extension of the Campbelltown Golf Clubhouse was about identifying opportunities to support the growth of the business. The goal was to unlock more flexible spaces to deliver more value for members and extend the club’s revenue sources.
Insight
Building on a long-standing relationship with Campbelltown Catholic Club, Scott Carver was engaged to prepare a staged approach to the refurbishment, which was initiated with a significant investment in the redesign of the player areas at the golf club.
Solution
Work on the clubhouse was part of an overall commercially-focused master plan, designed to increase the commercial viability of the recreational and hospitality venue. While extending the core, our design approach capitalised on the club’s beautiful setting and water views within the Maccarthur area. With a new outlook, the clubhouse could maximise the potential of the venue as a special occasions venue, benefits to the Club’s patrons and players, through the food, function and gaming environments.
