Marina Square
A key urban component and unique hub for waterfront living
Challenge
The urban renewal of the Wentworth Point precinct offered an opportunity to re-imagine this space as the new standard in waterfront living. The brief for Marina Square reflected a more tailored and localised venue for the Wentworth Point community, with a complex designed to achieve balance with the addition of cultural and civic amenities.

Insight
Urban retail across two levels with a full line supermarket, a range of fresh food retail outlets, and a quality and casual dining strip providing a vibrant community “place” complimented with specialised service retail and personal service providers. Truly a fitting town centre.
Solution
Activation of the street frontages via a mix of residential, retail and public domain, enabled the precinct to act as a key urban component and a unique hub for waterfront living. Importantly, the complex reflects the character of the surrounding area while being sensitive to the integration of the existing space.
