Oran Park Commercial
An elegant landscape connecting two commercial towers
Challenge
The brief called for the provision of an elegant and uncluttered plaza that seamlessly connects into the public domain and flows through the core of the building’s atrium, blurring the boundaries between the interior and exterior spaces. Additionally, the inclusion of the Level 6 rooftop terrace provides the building with a relaxed socialising space away from street level.
Insight
Scott Carver continued to shape the design during Tender and now Construction phases, and onwards as the building neared completion. We worked alongside the Architects, Building contractors, Engineers and Council to deliver what has become the signature building of the growing commercial precinct adjacent to Oran Park Town Centre.
Solution
The design focuses on providing an elegant and uncluttered plaza that seamlessly connects into the public domain and flows through the core of the buildings atrium, blurring the boundaries between the interior and exterior spaces. The inclusion of a Level 6 private rooftop terrace provides the building with a relaxed socialising space away from street level.
