Flood detention areas and riparian corridors provide a great solution to monsoonal areas.

30ha of interconnected linear parkland, local parks and riverfront riparian corridors were created.

We wanted to celebrate the unique landscape of Townsville in a way that no other development has done to date. In particular we wanted the changing seasons from monsoonal flooding to dry months and the amazing transformation in plant and animal life to be seen and experienced by residents.
