Rydges Hotel Expansion, Campbelltown
Reinventing a Hotel 10 Years on…
Challenge
In 2017, ten years on from the original 2007 design, the hotel is being extended and refurbished. The south west of Sydney has grown significantly over those ten years.

Insight
The South West of Sydney is growing quickly. With expanding population and connection to Sydney’s future 2nd airport, the Rydges Hotel at Campbelltown needs to retain it’s position as a venue of choice in the Macarthur area of Sydney. With access to growing businesses the design of the hotel and fitout of the rooms must respond to both the weekday business market and the weekend recreational market, supporting the expansive venues at the Catholic Club.
Solution
New outdoor areas have been created to expand the conference and functions offer, providing guests with a range of spaces and amenity. Rooms have been refurbished with an additional 40 rooms, in order to expand the hotel offer.
