A Build to Rent development that builds on community.
The project sits amongst a string of new build to rent developments that make up the new Macaulay area, forecast to accommodate 10,000 people by 2025. Consisting of 447 apartments the development places a strong focus on community for both residents and locals.
The project embeds the ideas of connection to culture, history, context and nature in the design solution. Its connection to culture through integrating the village feel that Kensington is well known for, while providing an opportunity to define new. Its connection to the history through form, materiality and detailing cues.
The connection to the context through proposed public pedestrian links through the site, and the connection to nature through 4 star green star sustainability targets and a key focus on resident health and wellbeing.
The development provides a diverse range of internal and external amenity that cultivate around a large central courtyard.
