Sirius
Capitalising on a stunning waterfront location with winter gardens
Challenge
With an attractive foreshore location overlooking Homebush Bay, the challenge with Sirius, a medium-rise, 703-apartment residential tower was simple. Our challenge was to deliver a quality design that would enhance the site’s premium city and waterfront views, while capturing the winter sun.

Insight
This scheme was the fifth in a continuing evolution of the broader Wentworth Point Marinas precinct masterplan with Billbergia Developments and is directly adjacent to Bennelong Bridge. It defines the Wentworth Point gateway from the north-east.
Solution
Our design combines a strongly articulated tower with linear podium blocks and includes winter gardens and angled balconies orientated to the expansive city and harbour views, to capture the winter sun.

Design inspiration
Design inspiration
Inspired by the views and the winter sun, a generous landscaped rooftop terrace flows from the tower across the northern podium, providing a strong connection to the water and across to Rhodes. To the west, another rooftop landscape space opened to the north, with a more serene and sheltered aspect.
