The 151 Macquarie Street project represents an opportunity to breathe new life into an existing commercial asset by significantly improving its street presence and evolving its aesthetic to reflect the forms, scale and materials of the historic Macquarie streetscape.

With views overlooking the Botanic Gardens and iconic Sydney Opera House, the new envelope design will transform 12 Storey tower by providing tenants with enhanced natural daylight and views, positioning it as a contemporary icon within the Sydney CBD.

The new façade re-imagines the building’s history, expressing the original structural slab edge through a new continuous glazed curtain wall façade that acts to create a more slender tower form, accentuating its verticality through glazed fins. The podium is reinstated to its original datum, with a fine grain terracotta finish sympathetically addressing the context of the building whilst creating a unique address for the building.
