Tahj Phapakdy
Landscape Architecture
After spending some time abroad after graduating – Tahj’s role at Scott Carver is his first graduate job. Travelling has helped to influence his design passion and knowledge, being able to witness firsthand some world-renowned landscapes that he studied throughout his time at university. This exposure has allowed him to understand the elements within landscape architecture and planning that are crucial to a landscape being a success. He hopes to be able to implement some of this knowledge during his career.
Throughout his time studying, Tahj gained much of his landscape knowledge while working at a boutique Landscape firm in Sydney, focusing on high end residential developments. Working closely with clients and contractors Tahj has had exposure to all stages of landscape development, from the design stage through construction to completion and maintenance. Also having experience working for the University of New South Wales as an Ambassador and a Tutors Assistant, Tahj has gained a lot of practice with public speaking which has sparked a zest for presenting and teaching.
Tahj’s passion is within the urban environment and is dedicated to creating spaces that promote a happier, healthier city – ultimately leading to a better future for all.
