Ross St, Harold Park Sod Turning
Lord Mayor, City of Sydney, Clover Moore, and CEO of City West Housing Pty Ltd, Leonie King, Rodney Paesler and Jerome Saad of Scott Carver and PBS Building, turned the sod on the Ross Street development today. “Scott Carver worked closely with City West Housing in the design of Harold Park’s 75 affordable homes, which are sustainable and well proportioned,” says Doug Southwell. “Every space in the development, both internal and external, will assist in building a sense of community in this development, which echoes the designs of the surrounding area. We are proud to support the housing needs of the city’s workers.”
Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore said: “Housing affordability is at crisis point here in inner Sydney, so we’re absolutely committed to using all the mechanisms available to us to increase the supply of affordable housing in our city.” Scott Carver and City West Housing are both committed to building communities and welcome the commencement of the project. “Scott Carver is excited to support our client and contractor to realise the project as it moves into the construction phase,” says Doug Southwell.
