Lis holds a strong ethos for collaboration to achieve the best design outcomes – ensuring the collaborative process of differing disciplines coming together to create integrated and holistic design outcomes, including the client, urban design, landscape, interior, architecture.
Feeling strongly about sociology, Lis upholds the principals of social spaces and sustainability throughout her design intent. Believing no-matter the size of the space or design, it must contribute positively to its urban context. She strongly believes in the value of the intersection between public and private spaces and incorporates global urban design principals in this context.
As a Graduate of Architecture from the University of Technology Sydney, Lis is passionate about the importance of academia and continues her affiliation with the University through tutoring Interior Spatial and Architecture undergraduate courses in communications and design.
Lis is an enthusiastic and passionate member of the Scott Carver team. She is influenced by Tadao Ando and his approach to strategic design thinking, and her design philosophy is - architecture is program and circulation, it generates a series of events.
