Emma Leckie
Associate
Emma Leckie began her journey at Scott Carver in 2019, after several years at a small Architecture firm which she started at during her studies. She has professional experience in both small and large-scale projects, including work in the residential, education, hospitality, public and commercial sectors in Australia and India. She has a particular passion for civic projects that contribute to the fabric of society, are enduring and engage people.
Emma has a special interest in the power of Architecture to create positive social change and has recently undertaken a 6 month sabbatical, volunteering in India with ‘The Anganwadi Project’ to create Bholu 17 preschool. As a team of two Architects, she designed, documented and oversaw the construction of a preschool in an urban slum in Ahmedabad. Emma is currently a tutor of Architecture at The University of Sydney and a where she hopes to share this passion with her students. |
