John holds the role of a senior associate at Scott Carver. He is an experienced architect with over 25 years industry experience in Australia and internationally, spanning infrastructure, residential, commercial, educational and tourism sectors. With wide ranging experience in events and sports, including the New Sydney Showground and Sydney 200 Olympics venues. He has also developed a broad understanding of maritime industrial and mixed use project typologies.
John applies a pragmatic approach to delivering complex design outcomes. John is never short of an opinion, and is a wealth of knowledge. He is highly reliable for delivery and is well regarded for keeping project teams on track. He has participated in environmental focussed conferences in Brisbane, Vancover and Oslo, over recent years.
Widely travelled accross Europe, North America and China, investigating the ‘urban-condition’ of cities, suburbs, and as a keen researcher of design and products. John enjoys the art of building great buildings, but is a music and golf tragic when he needs to escape the rigors of professional life.
