Woolworths Glenorie

This freestanding Woolworths supermarket was developed by Woolworths as a traditional neighbourhood centre for the growing community at Glenorie.

Physical site constraints and limited trunk services were overcome to create an affordable, simple and inviting rural feel to the new ‘big box’ retail in town.

Polite verandah elements were used to reduce the apparent scale, whilst the entry statement was projected up to be seen from the approaching road frontage.

Special features include a high tech sandwich panel roofing system, bushfire protection, on site sewerage treatment system and on site water disposal.
