In response to the imposing drama of the Anzac bridge above, the Sydney Slipways maritime service facilities were designed to be set below the level of the bridge deck and addressing the harbour foreshore.
The scheme builds upon the maritime traditions of Rozelle Bay with modern, conscientious design which ultimately provides a base for a successful business, supporting the working harbour at the centre of Sydney. The two main buildings are connected and situated adjacent a hard stand area and piers/pontoons where the majority of the boat maintenance will take place.
