Macquarie University Playing Fields

The project was commissioned in 2005 to prepare a master plan and framework for the implementation of a new sports infrastructure, water and landscape management program, to cater for the future growth of the Macquarie University.

The project entailed the preparation of water recycling strategy (via sewer mining) to satisfy future water requirements, new spectator view structures and change facilities, rationalisation of car parking and circulation networks and new sports ovals.

A prime objective was to create strong landscape images and an arrival experience reflective of the natural Lane Cove National Park backdrop, whilst implementing public safety and way finding systems.
