CIRCA Retail Core

The new Business Park Precinct – CIRCA, is a recent release area within the Norwest Business Park.

The project vision was to create a planned campus scale business precinct that caters for the modern work place environs, community and recreational amenity. Due to its former land use as a brick works the site is highly modified and devoid of vegetation. The master planning acknowledges the heritage context of the adjacent Bella Vista Farm through the preservation of views to the site and has established a landscape framework that defines a "natural character" reminiscent of the Cumberland Plains Forest. A central urbane Neighbourhood Centre will create a community core to the development, with pedestrian and cycle networks linking to the broader community.

Environmentally sensitive bio filtration and swale drainage models have been implemented as the foundation of site water management and reuse. A material palette including the use of brick is nominated to reference the former use of the site as a commercial brick works servicing Western Sydney.
