Cameron Park Marketplace

Cameron Park Marketplace is designed to create the new town centre for this green-field residential development, yet is based on the traditional regional shopping centre trading format.

A rich landscape setting and outdoor terrace buffer the occasional pedestrian access for the new housing estate, including shade colonnades to the parking. A town square connects buses to the centre and a cycle path built on the old tramway corridor keeps the centre anchored to the community through convenience.

The development will stand alone commercially in its early years, and is designed to evolve it’s trade as a more urban setting grows with medium density development adjacent changes the building’s context.
